In the week of independent bookshops there is the opportunity to talk to two authors from Würzburg about their new book publications: on Saturday, October 31, between 12 and 2 p.m.

At Dreizehneinhalb in Eichhornstraße, Sonja Weichand will sign her first novel “Schuld Bewusstsein” (awareness of guilt) about the role of women today and in the Nazi era.

Dr. Pia Beckmann talks to visitors to the Knodt bookstore in Textorstraße about her book “free - Perspektiven auf die Freiheit” (free - Perspectives on Freedom). With this book, Beckmann wants to initiate a discussion on the topic of freedom and democracy in times of worldwide crises and the pandemic.”
